Where did March Madness come from?

Chef Urs says:The assessments are gloomy, the numbers are dire, the forecast is grim and the delicate, intricate global economy is in the midst of a daunting, red-flag moment. Despite all the "madness" around us the Main Street Eatery wants to assure that our friends and customers still enjoy great dining and entertainment!

Therefore, for the month of March only, I want to make you an incredible offer! When you dine at the Main Street Eatery on Monday through Thursday evening, we will reward your loyal patronage with a gift:You buy one entrée, and you will receive another entrée of equal or less value on the HOUSE!(This excludes our Prix Fixe menu of course)Is this madness? Maybe...... but I prefer calling my offer a token of my appreciation to the many customers who have dined with me during the past 28 years!

Print out this page and bring it with you to the restaurant.
Wikipedia says, "March Madness is basketball tournaments played in March; evidence suggests that CBS sportscaster Brent Musburger popularized the term during the annual tournament broadcasts. "
