YWCA Announces Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Introduce Church Street Couture

LYNCHBURG, VA—Join the YWCA of Central Virginia for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. on April 17th as it expands its Church Street Bridal brand to include a couture shop featuring high-end designer gowns. Church Street Couture will be located in the Galleria at 915 Main Street, downtown Lynchburg. Church Street Couture will feature high-end formal and bridal gowns from designers such as Henry Roth, Alvina Valenta, Melissa Sweet, Vera Wang and others. Dresses are donated directly by shops and designers from around the country and are sold at affordable prices. Bridal gowns will be priced at $350, $500 and $650 and formal gowns will be priced at $150, $200 and $250. The shop will be open Mondays through Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Church Street Couture will benefit the YWCA’s programs such as the Domestic Violence Prevention Center, which houses and assists victims of domestic violence abuse, and the Transitional Housing Program, which houses and assists homeless women.
At the ribbon cutting ceremony staff will be on hand for a question and answer period for the press.
Church Street Bridal and Church Street Bridal, TOO remain open Tuesday through Friday 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. They are located in the YWCA, 626 Church Street, downtown Lynchburg.
